Each year, a Tulsa Landmark is memorialized in a ornament desinged by local artist Bobbie Whaling. These ornaments are bronze with a 24ct gold wash and come in our signature red box with insert describing each location, building or moment.
Whether it's a school, a historical building, and statue or a moment in time, Bobbie takes great care researching and desiging these keepsakes. The collection in ongoing and we hope you find a special ornament to gift or bring joy to your home this year.
Bobbie is a Chicago native who has been living and creating art in Tulsa for the last 35 years. She started her art career in Chicago teaching art classes at Favor Rule Art Supply Store. She then worked as a graphic designer at the Dallas Morning News and then for Clark's Good
Clothes and Reed's department store after moving to Tulsa.
She began teaching art at the School of Saint Mary in 1992 and retired in 2016 after 24 years. She loves to support the Tulsa Opera and Ballet, sing in the choir, hang out with her kids and grandkids, tap dance and volunteer.
